Kebab is undoubtedly one of the most popular fast food dishes in Poland, not to mention the whole world. It cannot be denied that most of us have certainly tried it. It is a very tasty, expressive and quick meal. In addition, as a rule, kebab is not offered in a prohibitive price.

Although it is difficult to find someone who does not know this delicacy, hardly anyone knows where it comes from and why it is so popular. Let's take a closer look at this unique dish. When we travel to different parts of Poland we frequently look for information where the best kebab is offered. Kebab is an Arab dish that has been adapted in Poland quite widely. The original kebab contains seasoned pieces of meat roasted on a spit. What types of this dish can be found? Mutton is the traditional kebab meat. In Poland, however, poultry and pork are really popular kebab meat types. Before we analyse what to serve the kebab with, let's try to explain where its name comes from. What does the word ,,kebab’’ mean? The word "kabab" comes from the Persian language, which means "grilled meat". There are many types of kebab and many of them have their own names. The example of ,,döner kebab’’ means "rotating roast meat". Therefore, it is easy to see that the nomenclature always refers to the ,,kebab’’ key word - that is, roasted meat. An interesting fact is that fans of this Turkish dish may celebrate its holiday. World Kebab Day is celebrated on January 7. It is quite a surprising holiday in the calendar of unusual holidays. Why shouldn’t we experience the pleasure of celebrating it? The traditional, real Turkish kebab is called ,,kebap’’ which is a street dish prepared according to the rules of Islam. On the other hand, the word ,,kebab’’ which has been adopted in the Western culture, is a word for similar dishes but prepared with other types of meat, e.g. chicken kebab, turkey kebab or pork kebab. Does it sound familiar? This is what we are offered with in kebab food trucks! The first question that arises here is as follows: what kind of meat should we use with kebab? Chicken kebab? Turkey kebab? Or maybe- pork kebab? At this point, it must be admitted that roasted beef kebab or mutton kebab is not so popular in Poland yet. The next question the seller will ask us will probably be whether we want tortillas for kebab, kebab in a bun, or maybe a kebab box? We finish the order with the sauce we prefer and choose. It is clear that the dish will include a set of salads and fresh vegetables, but optional toppings can be as follows: cheese or chips. The popularity of this dish means that there are many variations on it. An example would be the combination of another of the most popular dishes in Poland - pizza with kebab meat. It sounds as a perfect idea for a dish!

Having all this information above, it is not surprising to be pondered by some questions: Where am I supposed to eat kebab? Where can I buy the tastiest kebab? Look for places that serve good quality kebab meat. The owners of food trucks and fast food restaurants that serve takeaway kebabs, look for good suppliers and manufacturers of kebab meat. There are wholesalers and producers of frozen food in Poland where this product is offered. The customers of Run Chłodnia may find the following offer: roasted poultry kebab, roasted beef kebab, grilled chicken dices, as well as raw chicken kebab and turkey kebab. All types of kebab are characterized by high quality and excellent taste.
